We are guided by the conviction that it often takes a lead funder to catalyze bold, innovative, and scalable solutions. We identify and work in tandem with NFP and NGO organizations that are driven to tackle specific and urgent problems. We seek to apply our experiential and financial resources through strategic project selection, co-creation, and grant structuring.
We seek strong partners in these efforts with capable and committed leadership and staff, and willing to invest with us in creating scalable, successful, and measurable outcomes.
Meet Our Founders
Elsa & Peter have been married for 56 years and raised four children. They founded the Elsa & Peter Soderberg Charitable Foundation (EPSCF) in 2012 after spending decades accumulating experience, subject matter knowledge, and friends in the healthcare and consumer product industries. Elsa & Peter are hands-on collaborators who invest in geographies and issues that they have a deep interest in. Elsa & Peter believe that to lift up society you must first lift up women, girls and young families. Elsa has a particular passion for family planning and SRH education and services, ensuring women have the ability to make the best decisions about their body and children have the best start to life. Peter has a passion for economic and educational empowerment and entrepreneurship.
Elsa & Peter are deeply involved in their local SW Florida communities. Peter sits on the Board of Gulf Coast Community Foundation and serves on the Community Development, Finance, and Governance Committees. Elsa is heavily involved in her local Boca Grande community and is an active member of the Boca Grande Woman’s Club. Elsa regularly volunteers at Boca Bargains and Suncoast Humane Society Thrift. They co-lead the Mission Committee of Boca Grande Lighthouse Methodist Church.
These snowbirds enjoy sunny winters in Boca Grande and beautiful summers in Skaneateles, NY. As grandparents to 14 grandchildren, these two stay very busy. If you see them out and about, they will likely have their three rescue dogs in tow: Pip, Pumpkin, and Spice.
